The project
In Middelkerke, we delivered the new-build project for School Kaboog through a public–private partnership. The project created a modern learning environment tailored to special education. Construction works commenced in April 2019, and by September 2020 approximately 200 pupils were able to move into the new facilities.
On the same site, we also developed the residential project Eymard, comprising 113 high-quality apartments. With spacious terraces and a prime coastal location, the development is ideally suited both for permanent residents and for those seeking a second home by the sea.

The works
Furnibo was responsible for the full execution of both the school and the residential development, in collaboration with Gama Company and Verstraete Development (Fugave).
Combining an educational facility with a residential development required a carefully considered approach and close coordination between all partners. The school was delivered on schedule, allowing the academic year to begin smoothly in the new buildings.
For the Eymard project, the focus was on residential quality, sustainability and comfort. The result is an integrated development where education and living come together in a harmonious way.
