The underground level is accessed via a sloping entrance ramp and comprises 18 enclosed garage boxes or parking spaces, a communal bicycle storage area and a dedicated waste room. Utility services have also been integrated underground in separate meter rooms.
Ter Elst stands out for its fresh architectural expression and sustainable choice of materials. The façade combines characterful, textured brickwork with warm wooden accents, resulting in a playful yet timeless appearance. Large windows allow for abundant natural daylight, while the configuration of the terraces ensures privacy without compromising openness.
