The project

Boevrie is transforming the former VTI Brugge site into a vibrant urban neighbourhood in the historic centre of Bruges.

The project comprises nine buildings offering a diverse mix of houses and apartments. A complex underground basement of 8,000 m² forms a distinctive component of the development.

The centuries-old limewashing technique is applied to 7,000 m² of façade surface, enhancing the authentic character and historic architectural features of the inner city. This project undoubtedly represents a harmonious addition to the urban landscape.

The works

Furnibo is responsible for the complete closed structural shell of the Boevrie project, including the construction of the extensive underground basement with its complex structural configuration.

Our teams carry out the load-bearing structures of the nine buildings with meticulous attention to detail. The skilled application of the traditional limewash technique requires specific expertise and craftsmanship.

We coordinate the works in close collaboration with Baltisse, HEEM Invest, Clarebout and Steenoven.
